I live in Northeast Ohio with my husband of a million years, Mark, and our yellow labrador retriever Marley, er….. Max. Max is ten months old, and took over our lives completely in October of 2008. Work, date nights, and vacations are now planned around Max’s comfort and tail-wagging happiness.
I love the Akron-Cleveland area where I was born and grew up– all Spring, Summer, and Fall I love it! I should mention that those three seasons probably only last six months around here. Or maybe it just seems that way after the horrible, looooong winter we had this year.
Max and I have decided that living near a pet-friendly beach in central Florida would really suit our lifestyle much better. To that end, we have embarked upon the “however long it takes” mission to move to the Clearwater area. It’d be a shame if the puppy and I had to go alone:)
Mark and I also raised three children prior to Max’s arrival in our lives, Kevin, Michael, and Christina. They are all grown, happy, and well-adjusted adults. Our oldest, Kevin, is married to his high school sweetheart, Linda, and they have three little angels, Erica, Brennan, and Alyssa. ( My Dad always told me that if he knew how much fun the grandkids were, he would have had them first.)
